Tyler Chatwood Leaves Game Early Due to Apparent Injury (Update: Right Elbow Discomfort)
Tyler Chatwood was cruising along today quite nicely, giving up only two hits through 2.1 innings. He then spiked a ball into the ground, well in front of Willson Contreras and immediately called for the trainer. There was no question he was done.
Colin Rea came in to relieve Chatwood and got out of the inning without any damage. Jose Quintana is warming up in the bullpen and we expect to see him come on in the 4th inning.
