Pedro Strop Arrives at Cubs Spring Training Camp
Hats to the left, folks. Pedro Strop finally arrived in Mesa for Spring Training on Saturday. Strop signed a minor league deal a few weeks ago with an invite to major league camp. We’ll see if he ultimately makes the squad, but let’s enjoy all of his first-day content.
Pedro was greeted by many of his long-term teammates, including Jake Arrieta and Jason Heyward. And — woah — Pedro’s biceps look like they grew over the offseason. It didn’t appear that he threw a bullpen on his first day, but he was throwing some long toss.
