The Cubs will host two theme nights and offer several Special Ticket Offers during the month of June for fans to take advantage of and enjoy, including Grateful Dead Night June 15, Stranger Things Day June 19, Shark Week Night June 28 and Pride Night June 29. Each theme night and Special Ticket Offer in June includes a special-edition hat with proof of ticket purchase to that respective game.
Grateful Dead Night
Fans of the Grateful Dead are invited to come to Wrigley Field Wednesday, June 15, for Grateful Dead Night when the Cubs take on the San Diego Padres. Fans can enjoy a Grateful Dead cover band at Gallagher Way pregame and will receive a special-edition Cubs and Grateful Dead hat with each ticket purchased through the Special Ticket Offer. A portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased through the Special Ticket Offer will be donated to the Rex Foundation, a nonprofit organization created by the Grateful Dead family and friends that provides extensive community support to small organizations making an impact in the arts, sciences, education, environment and social justice. Stranger Things Day
On Sunday, June 19, the Cubs will welcome fans back to the Upside Down with Stranger Things Day at Wrigley Field. Before the Cubs take on the Atlanta Braves, fans can enjoy an ’80s cover band at Gallagher Way and watch Stranger Things star Eduardo Franco throw out the ceremonial first pitch. During the game, fans can enjoy a photo opportunity in the right field corner of the Wrigley Field concourse as well as a custom Stranger Things-inspired concession item, the “Upside Down Cool Ranch Nacho,” available at the Sheffield Corner concession stand June 19 only. Fans can purchase tickets to the June 19 game through the Stranger Things Day Special Ticket Offer which includes a special-edition Cubs and Stranger Things hat with purchase.
Shark Week Night
Fan-favorite Shark Week comes to Wrigley Field Tuesday, June 28, when the Cubs take on the Cincinnati Reds! Fans of the weeklong television special, which officially kicks off July 24 on Discovery and Discovery+, can enjoy pregame festivities before the game including a Shark Week photo opportunity and a visit from Chompy the mascot at Gallagher Way. Fans interested in attending Shark Week Night at Wrigley Field can purchase tickets to the game through the Shark Week Night Special Ticket Offer which includes a special-edition Cubs and Shark Week hat with purchase. The first 5,000 early arriving fans in the Budweiser Bleachers also will receive a foam fin hat.
On Wednesday, June 29, the Cubs will celebrate Pride Night at Wrigley Field and are encouraging fans to come out and show their support for the local LGBTQ+ community through a Pride Night Special Ticket Offer. This offer includes a ticket to the Cubs-Reds game at Wrigley Field and a special-edition Cubs hat. A portion of the proceeds from each Pride Night Special Ticket Offer will go to Cubs Charities to support LGBTQ+ community partners.
