The Cubs were locked in a scoreless shutout through three innings in Toronto, but Willson Contreras changed that with one swing.
The 399-foot home run put the Cubs up 1-0, but it didn’t go down without a hitch. Contreras gingerly limped around the bases looking like his ankle was acting up again. He’s back on the field on defense so apparently, he’s ok. We’ll likely find out more after the game. So stay tuned.
