Cubs Option Kilian, Estrada as Spring Roster Trimmed by 5

The Cubs have trimmed the spring roster by five, highlighted by optioning Caleb Kilian and Jeremiah Estrada to Triple-A Iowa. Both are very much in contention for MLB action this season, with Kilian picking up some starts and Estrada working some late innings out of the bullpen.

As for the other moves, none of which were the least bit surprising, lefty Bailey Horn and righties Nick Neidert and Eric Stout were assigned to minor league camp.
